VCU no longer lists an accelerated or second-degree BSN. Its option for people with a bachelor's degree in another field is a direct-entry master's launching in fall 2026. A master's entry program leads to the same registered nurse license but awards a master's degree, usually takes longer, and often has different prerequisites, so it is not listed here as an ABSN.
