Prerequisites in progress at application Not published. Confirm with the school. Our two readings of the page disagreed (“Up to 3 of the 10 prerequisites may be in progress, no more than 2 of them science courses; at least 7 of 10 (including 3 of 5 sciences) must be complete” vs “7 of 10 prerequisites (including 3 of 5 sciences) completed at application; up to 3 (including 2 sciences) may be in progress”), so we are not publishing a value yet.

Sources

Every page we read for Arizona State, with when we last checked it. Tier 1 is the program's own pages; tier 2 the nursing school's general pages; tier 3 university-wide pages.

Open questions we're still checking
  • Is HCR 210 (Ethics) and HCR 230 (Culture and Health) required of second-degree applicants? The 2026-27 checksheet lists them, but the handbook's second-degree prerequisite list omits them.
  • Is Lake Havasu still a fall cohort location? The handbook lists it; the program page lists only West Valley for fall.
  • How much Learn Where You Live (ASU Sync) instruction is delivered remotely? The pages do not say, so format is recorded as on_campus.
  • The handbook (revised August 2024) is truncated, so further placement-priority details were not visible.
  • Exact cohort start dates, and when the advancement application opens, are not published.
  • The program page lists Downtown Phoenix, Learn Where You Live and West Valley. The August 2024 handbook also lists Lake Havasu (fall). Lake Havasu's current status is unclear.
  • The Learn Where You Live (ASU Sync) delivery mode is not described, so the share of coursework delivered remotely is unknown. Format is recorded as on_campus.
  • The 2026-27 checksheet lists HCR 210, HCR 230 and a Mathematics (MATH) course, but the handbook's second-degree prerequisite list omits them. It is unclear whether postbaccalaureate applicants must take them.
  • The handbook excerpt is truncated in the placement-priority section.
  • The checksheet gives a February 1 deadline 'for summer and fall', while the program page lists only spring and fall cohorts.
  • No application-open dates, tuition amount or application fee are published.
  • Two readings of the page disagreed on partial_completion: Up to 3 of the 10 prerequisites may be in progress, no more than 2 of them science courses; at least 7 of 10 (including 3 of 5 sciences) must be complete | 7 of 10 prerequisites (including 3 of 5 sciences) completed at application; up to 3 (including 2 sciences) may be in progress.

ABSNcheck summarizes requirements that schools publish on their own websites, with a link to each source and the date we last verified it. Schools change requirements, sometimes contradict themselves, and make individual decisions. Results show whether you meet published minimums; they are not an admission decision or a guarantee, and are not official advice from any school. Always confirm requirements with each program before you apply or enroll in a course.
